Story Overview
Connor Dusk is the magnetic frontman of a rising rock band — worshipped on stage, consumed by silence off it.
Behind the glamour, he is trapped. Bound to a powerful and manipulative family through marriage, Connor's life has been carefully curated: his image polished, his narrative controlled, his rebellion repackaged as marketable angst. Even his breakdowns are managed.
The whispers in his head are getting louder. Whether they are signs of psychological fracture or something far more unsettling, Connor can no longer ignore the feeling that his life has been engineered — that he is performing a version of himself written by someone else.
When Victoria enters his world, she becomes a disruption in the script. A crack in the illusion. A reminder that something about his reality does not add up.
